Fastest Wow Leveler? That’s an add question, isn’ t it?  Not really if you’re looking for a lot of value for the price you pay for those crazy guides.  If you’re like me you want to make sure that the guide you use is the best, hands down, no question.  There’s a lot of debate going around the net about who has the fastest guide on the planet, though.  I thought I’d lay out a few ideas to describe what would have to be the BEST leveler in the game.  Here are my thoughts.

  1. It has to be in game – You and I both know that switching between windows is annoying with such a big program.  It takes much too long and wastes valuable gaming time to have to keep going back and forth to a reader program and then trying to get back into the game.  Even if you print it out, you have to search for what you’re looking for.  No, to me the perfect leveler will have everything in-game, and I’ll be able to hide it at will without any problems (in case I feel like goofing off or whatever).
  2. It has to be UP-TO-DATE.  What’s the point of using a guide from three patches ago.  And don’t even TRY to charge me for updates.  That’s not how I play.
  3. It has to be EASY to use.  If you can’t fit the instructions into the back of a playing card, I don’t have the attention, the time, or the desire to even TRY using your product.  No, keep it simple.
  4. You better have excellent support if I can’t figure out how to use the guide.  Seriously, take care of me or I’m gone.
  5. I want a guarantee attached to my leveler.  You can understand that, can’t you?  I probably won’t use it, but just knowing I can if you have a stinky product, that’s going to help me.

I’ve looked at a LOT of leveling guides, and the best one I’ve found that includes all of this stuff is Questup.  I use Questup alliance mainly, but I promise you the Horde program works wonders too.  Go check it out and see for yourself.  They hold the current record as the fastest wow leveler available, too, so it won’t hurt to take a look right?  Just click here to see what I’m talking about.

Getting to level 80 is a challenge especially for novice players. But believe it or not, it is possible to ding level 80 in just under a week! There are many different approaches you can take to reach level 80 quickly. As many players say, the real game does not begin until level 80. So, how is it possible that some players can achieve what can take amateurs months in just a few days?

Power Leveling

The term power leveling is when you have a higher level player running you through instances for experience. Power leveling is arguably the fastest way to level you character if you have friends that are willing to level you. Doing this is dramatically faster than soloing and questing.

On the other hand, there are a few downsides to power leveling. For instance, how quickly you level will be determined by how quickly your power leveler kills. In essence, you will be leveling depending on how efficient your power leveler is. Not to mention that most power levelers are not online 24/7.

Power leveling is an excellent option if it is available to you.

Soloing

Soloing is the only viable way of leveling for many new players. Primarily, soloing generally means questing to reach level 80. However, this means having to look up details about each and every quest online. For many soloing can become extremely boring and tedious. To assert this issue many resort to using leveling guides.

Leveling Guides

There are many different leveling guides ranging from videos to ebooks. The guides that work the best are the ones that stand out from the rest. One leveling guide I can assure will get you on your way to 80 is Zygor’s In game Guide. This guide is highly recommended and is widely used by many World of Warcraft players.

Complete with an in game add-on and step-by-step instructions, this guide will certainly provide you with everything you’ll need to ding 80.

The fine art of leveling a priest in World of Warcraft can be a real trial. Luckily, there are some tips and tricks that will help you achieve your goals faster and easier than ever before.

Priests are one of the most under-estimated character classes in all of World of Warcraft. Luckily, you can turn this to your advantage. We’re going to talk about some tips to building a fantastic priest with some excellent leveling specifications, and which talent tree to follow, specifically between holy or discipline.

If I do my job right, you’re going to have some great ideas for getting your priest up to the level you want and need, and do it very quickly. First things first, let’s talk talent trees. If you’re more of a solo player, you’ll want to follow the “Shadow” talent tree.

I know it’s hard to follow while your working from levels 1-20, but shadow priests are REALLY good at doing a lot of damage to a lot of different targets. If you’re a solo quester, go shadow. Shadow is a diverse tree at moderate to high levels, and you’ll be able to work with it better as you progress through the game. Remember, a character is only as good as the player, so use the lower levels to really master the class. You’ll also want to advance to Spirit Tap and Mind Flay QUICK! These are two of the best tools in a shadow priests arsenal.

Eventually, you’re going to pick up Shadow Form. That’s where things get REALLY fun. Now, don’t get me wrong, I strongly endorse Shadow talents as your best bet, but you probably have some questions on Holy as well, so let’s talk a little about that.

First of all, Holy is NOT a damage dealing class, so don’t throw yourself into the fray like a crazy person. The real fun from Holy is how useful you’ll be in group quests, instances, and raids. Everyone needs a good healer, right? You’ll be welcome ANY TIME. You can still survive as a solo quester, but it is going to take you longer to level this way. Even the fastest players take longer with Holy priests. It’s just the way it is. If you are planning to solo quest, be sure you take the damage per second skills available to you, like Smite and Holy Fire. It’s important to have a LITTLE muscle to back all that faith and healing power!

Another advantage, though, is the ability to improve your gear quickly and easily when you go into high level instances. The drops are from enemies and bosses are a GOLD mine for you. Playing a priest is one of the most unique aspects of World of Warcraft and, in my humble opinion, EVERY player ought to try it at least once. Priests are almost a whole different game within the game, and they WILL make you a better WoW player. Happy Shadows and Healing!

One of the biggest problems facing World of Warcraft Players is learning to level a character quickly. Everybody has their own ways of getting experience, whether it be a questing style (meaning they complete quests for the experience) or a grinding style (meaning they kill things for the experience). This is one area most people are making a HUGE mistake. The work so hard to gain a few levels, that they get tired out before they even reach levels 20 or 30, let alone trying to get anywhere from 60-80. There are even some people who will PAY someone to level their characters for them. Don’t make this mistake.

I’m going to show you an inexpensive and easy way to get your character to level 80 as soon as possible. You can use an in-game guide built specifically for your faction to get you there as soon as possible. Horde or Alliance, you’re on your way to heroics! But what makes this guide different? Why is it worth your time?

Good question, I’m so glad you asked it.

Like I said, this guide is actually IN-GAME. No need to alt-tab between a .pdf document and your game. Every step of the way, the guide is RIGHT THERE for your reference. It’s an add-on to World of Warcraft, so all you need to do is install it into your addon folder, and you’re ready to go. It usually takes two to four minutes to set up. This program is called Questup, and it’s made by Team Idemise, who currently hold the world record as the fastest players to reach level 80, clocking in at a whopping 7 days of play time. You’ve probably heard some of the whispers about this. It’s changing everything for World of Warcraft players. It’s AMAZING, and it gives you everything you’ll need to level faster than you ever thought possible. It has all the steps, quests, and locations for everything you need to do to get to 80. It’s like having a mentor right by your side as you play. You’ll know where to go, what to do when you get there, and how to get back when you’re done.

There are waypoints on your world map and mini map telling where everything is. There was a time when this valuable tool was only available for the Alliance faction, but it’s been so successful, they’ve released a version for the Horde as well. No matter where your characters sit in the eternal struggle for Azeroth, you’ll find something to keep you interested, excited, and improving your skills, gear, and levels.

Power leveling has become an event unto itself in the World of Warcraft. Most World of Warcraft players will remember their first character forever, especially those who’ve been playing for a while. We all started out as complete beginners, and made a lot of common mistakes. Eventually, though, after a lot of hard work, we were able to scratch and claw our way to that level 60. The REALLY cool guys could do it in three or four months, but only because they were playing CONSTANTLY. For the day, they were pretty fast, too.

But recently, our lovely little Azeroth has grown into a whopping MONSTER of a world, adding new continents and worlds to journey to. This opened up a whole new world of leveling and questing possibilities for World of Warcraft players.  If you’d like to skip over a lot of this stuff and just find out how you can double your leveling speed, click here.

Then it became a matter of honor for some players to be the fastest levelers ever on their servers and in the game. Horde and Alliance players battled it out on every server, running marathon gaming sessions, trying tricks, strategies, and any other dirty deeds they could to get to 80 faster than anyone else. Then the secret was revealed. A humble team of players/programmers called Team Idemise built the fastest leveling guide in the WORLD, and hit level 80 in less than 7 days of playing time.

It didn’t involve hacking Blizzard, it didn’t involve grinding away hours of their time killing the same beasties over and over again. They simply put the right quests in the right order at the right time for the right characters. It was really as simple as that. Of course, they had some other preparations as well, because they were good World of Warcraft players, and had learned from previous experience. Here are a few preparations you should make whether you decide to use this amazing in-game guide or not.

Addons- – Find out which addons are valid with the current patch. Most free addons go out of date rather quickly, which is partially why I use paid addons more often. They usually include free updates as well as the initial product.

I like to use Wowecon, a free download available online along with my leveling guide addons.

Gear – Don’t look for gear! Most of the time the gear you get from the first few levels is enough to last you through SEVERAL levels higher. Most of the time, you’ll get the upgrades you need from questing or just from drops. If worse comes to worst, put some armor kits/sharpening stones in your bags with you at all times. Have a friend enchant your gear to make it last longer. Just don’t waste your time trying for better stuff. Stuff will come to you. Focus on damage dealing gear when you have a choice. Remember, the shorter a battle is, the less likely you are to die.

Save your pennies, you’re going to need it to buy your riding skill, your mounts, and eventually your FLYING mounts.

Potions and Food – Keep these on hand at ALL TIMES. Use them whenever you can. They’re cheap and effective.

You can get good deals at the Auction House most of the time when you’re passing through a big city. Buy in Bulk stacks if you can. You WILL use it eventually, and if you don’t, you can always repost it. Talents – Choose talents that will work best for your class when SOLOING. Every class has something with a solo emphasis. This will cut down your play time immensely!

Focus on Damage. If you deal enough damage, your armor will have a much lower effect on the outcome of the battle. Key Combinations – Set up your macros for maximum efficiency. You’re probably going to be spending a lot of time on your own if you’re going for speed leveling, and knowing how to kill a lot of people at a time is going to REALLY help you out. The more you can kill at once, the faster you’re going to level. See how that works? Applying these tricks and tips and the Team Idemise In-game leveling guide, you should be able to level at double or even TRIPLE the speed you can on your own. Once you have these skills down, you just need to know where to go, what to do, and how to get there. It doesn’t matter where you are geographically in Azeroth. Having a good leveling guide will cut down your time significantly. Having a step-by-step guide can make all the difference in the world in your gaming time. It’s like having the fastest player in the world right next to you telling you where to go next. Just follow the arrows and mini-map waypoints to get where you need to be. Make sure you’re not using a leveling guide from a PDF document, though, as all of that alt+tabbing will slow you WAY down.

In the end, make sure you’re having fun. That’s the real key to building up skill in any area of life, so enjoy yourself. For the Horde/Alliance!  If you do need more information on a good leveling program, the best one I’ve found so far is Team Idemise.  Click here to get more information.

I love helping out enchanters.  With any of my characters, at any given time, I might just have something that could use a little magic pick me up.  There seem to be a lot of low level enchanters working on their skills, and I don’t mind their asking to enchant stuff for free.
Here’s what I hate though.  Someone comes along with a really bad sales pitch like “Hey, im a chanter, need wurk, let me dchant yur stuff.”

Let’s talk a little sales 101 here.  I know people hate salesmen, but it’s one of those things you just can’t avoid in WoW.  If you want to be an effective professional in ANY of the professions, you’re going to need some basic sales skills.  Here’s a quick tip to get people to respond to you.

Always pitch the benefit, and pitch it from the customer’s point of view:

Imagine for a minute two guys come up to you.  One can’t spell, he just tells you how bad he needs work and how hard it is for him.  The other says something like “Excuse me, but I noticed your cloak is bare.  If you’d like, I would love to enchant it for you.  I have the mats to give it ______________ (insert benefit).”

Notice how guy number two spells everything right, he uses good grammar, and he said “look what I can do for you” instead of “Help me”.  Whether we like it or not, we’re judged in game and out by the appearances we use.  Our appearance online, however, has a lot more to do with our spelling and grammar than our character appearance.  Bear in mind, keeping this in mind in your every day life will have a HUGE impact on you as well, but if nothing else, you’re making the game a better place.

So, if you use correct english, good grammar, and the right tools, you’re going to see a marked improvement in all areas of the game.  Best of luck.

So in the spirit of adding to my World of Warcraft addiction (and to overcome a light burnout phase), I decided I would start messing around with some of the world event quests.  It’s been Midsummer Festival for the last week or so, and I’ve never done a whole lot of these quests.

I was SHOCKED when I realized just how much XP they give for these things!  So far, I’ve gone up two or three levels, and I haven’t turned in a quest for several days now.  So here’s the trick.  Go check out the achievements for “Flamewarden of _______” and be sure to desecrate the flames of your opposing faction. (Yes, you get to pee on the fires of your opponents.  It’s pretty satisfying).

Now, these events are time central, and you can’t beat having a good leveling program to help you out through the slow times of year, but learning about these events (Darkmoon Faire, Midsummer Festival, Midwinter Festival, and every other event that corresponds with a real world holiday) can make a huge difference in your experience.
