Experience Overload: A great way to gain a few quick levels
Posted under Experience Tips, Team Idemise, World of Warcraft, leveling guide | No CommentSo in the spirit of adding to my World of Warcraft addiction (and to overcome a light burnout phase), I decided I would start messing around with some of the world event quests. It’s been Midsummer Festival for the last week or so, and I’ve never done a whole lot of these quests.
I was SHOCKED when I realized just how much XP they give for these things! So far, I’ve gone up two or three levels, and I haven’t turned in a quest for several days now. So here’s the trick. Go check out the achievements for “Flamewarden of _______” and be sure to desecrate the flames of your opposing faction. (Yes, you get to pee on the fires of your opponents. It’s pretty satisfying).
Now, these events are time central, and you can’t beat having a good leveling program to help you out through the slow times of year, but learning about these events (Darkmoon Faire, Midsummer Festival, Midwinter Festival, and every other event that corresponds with a real world holiday) can make a huge difference in your experience.
