Redruben: My Team Idemise Test Subject
Posted under Team Idemise, World of Warcraft Addon review, Wow Addon Review | No CommentI thought it might be fun to show off a little bit of what the Team Idemise 1-80 Questup addon can do. So, I decided to start a new character! I’ll post pictures and examples of some of the things it can do. This, like many things in World of Warcraft, is a lot easier to show than it is to tell about it.
I really wanted to give this a fair test, so I did a few things differently than what I do when I’m just playing for fun. First, I decided I needed a character class that was pretty new to me. I haven’t played a fighter yet, so I decided to start one as my test subject. I have characters in all the races, so I couldn’t add a lot of variety there, so I thought I’d go with a human this time. Full on red beard and red hair, because I think it looks cool, and I’ve always wanted that for myself. Ah, the strange fantasies this game lets us live out. I love this game. The name was hard to choose, because I’m on a rather crowded server (I like having more players walking around. Keeps things interesting). I tried Ruben, but it was taken, so I chose Redruben, because of his hair and beard, (I most certainly am NOT obsessed).

My next step was to make sure I had everything turned on correctly. One of the keys to using the Team Idemise 1-80 Leveler is to make sure you have it turned on. Strange concept, eh? You do this by going to your character select screen and pushing the addons button on the left hand side of the screen. There you can select to turn the guide off or on, and trust me, you’re going to want it turned on. It doesn’t cause any problems if you turn it off, however, either, so you can spend your time farming your cooking, fishing, or other profession skills without the questing menus distracting you. Also, if you’re going on Raids or working on Instances with a group, it’s a good idea to turn it off then too. The guides are usually best used when working on leveling.
I’ll start posting more on my progress with Redruben, probably every ten levels or so. The gameplay changes so much from level to level that I think to give a fair and accurate review, I’ll need to update on it often. I’m going to sacrifice for you guys and play a lot of WoW. The things I do for you people.
